These doors are usually made with hardwood ply but other materials are available (oak is a popular option!). Timber doors can be motorised but are usually fitted with a flush-fitting squash court handle and lifting is assisted by gas struts which also lock the door in place when open. They feature a stainless steel mesh within the tray to give your adhesive a good key and to ensure they stay in place over many years of operation. The advantage of this is that the door installation becomes more discreet, with no frame visible and a more seamless finish. The downside of course is that tiled edges will be exposed and potentially more prone to damage when the door is open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Installation can be carried out by our team nationwide or can be done by you\/your builder.
